This 2019 Gibson Custom Shop 60th Anniversary 1959 Les Paul Standard boasts a meticulously hand-selected lightweight Mahogany body with a captivating 2-piece Figured Maple top. combining rich lows and warm mid-range tones with brilliant highs for a well-balanced sound.

Complementing the body is a Mahogany neck carved to Gibson's 'Authentic '59 Medium C-Shape' profile. This neck shape appeals to purists, offering a substantial yet comfortable playing experience. Crowning the neck is a Indian Rosewood fingerboard adorned with 22 'Medium-Jumbo' frets, striking the perfect balance between vintage and contemporary playability. Both the neck and body feature a nitrocellulose VOS finish, faithfully recreating the look and feel of the original '50s Les Pauls.

The Les Paul set the standard for guitars equipped with humbuckers, and the 1959 Les Paul Standard VOS honors that legacy with a pair of Gibson's Custombucker Alnico III pickups.
