The 2020 D’Angelico Excel SS offers the inviting resonance of a semi-hollowbody in a comfortably sized single-cutaway design. Its Ice Tea Burst finish and elegant detailing give it a distinctive look that feels equally at home onstage or in the studio.

The medium-sized body sits comfortably against the player, making longer sessions more enjoyable than with a larger hollowbody guitar. Its sound is warm and open, with enough definition for articulate chords and expressive lead playing. For guitarists who want semi-hollow character without the bulk, the Excel SS is well worth exploring.
