Up for grabs is this absolutely beautiful 2017 Gibson Custom Shop 1958 (R8) VOS Reissue in dirty Lemon Burst. it is one of a limited number of ‘Hand Selected’ Historics with AAA tops Gibson built exclusively for its favored Japanese retailers. It’s official booklet title is ‘STD HIS JP SPL 58 LP’. There is a lot of documentation with this one, including the ‘Hand Selected’ booklet in sleeve and Japanese booklet. Absolutely no breaks, repairs or modifications. The original Custom Buckers sound great. It is nice and lightweight too. Complete with original historic pink velvet crush lined lifton HSC, all working fine with key. Has had the VOS treatment from the Gibson custom shop so some light ageing all over.
