Masaki Sakurai 為日本著名琴匠 Masaru Kohno 之侄。其在製琴過程中與 Kohno 同步合作並親自師承，將制琴工藝的核心技術從第一線汲取而得。儘管作品可見明顯看到具有Kohno 風格但Sakurai 同時加入其獨特的個人風格塑造樂器，令每一粒音色皆兼具辨識度與性格。

從雲杉木及玫瑰木的紋理就能了解，整支結他均由Sakurai 精心挑選木材，音色層次深厚、音量投射清晰，並在整體音域維持卓越平衡。每一個音皆能以明確度與控制力回應——這正是嚴謹專業結他手於舞台與錄音室中所期待的關鍵特性。結他琴頸背面所採用的雙層黑檀加強條（double ebony reinforcing strips）更有助於提升琴頸穩定性。
