The Universe series is Ibanez's first mass-produced solid body seven-string electric guitar, developed in collaboration with Steve Vai. This model is a seven-string version of the Ibanez JEM series, Vai's signature guitar. It comes with all the classic features of a UV model, including a basswood body, DiMarzio Blaze II pickups, and a double-locking tremolo with a Lo Pro Edge bridge.
